Marc I. Simon, Esquire,image description Marc I. Simon, Esquire, concentrates his practice in personal injury litigation. Additionally, Mr. Simon is an NBA-certified agent and was a Division I college basketball player for Columbia University in New York City.

Mr. Simon is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey bar and licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

A native of Abington, Pennsylvania, Mr. Simon attended Shipley High School in Bryn Mawr, PA and then earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, in New York City. He then obtained his law degree from Villanova University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and received the prestigious Order of the Coif Award bestowed on members of the graduating class who obtain a grade point average in the top ten percent of the entire class.

Josh Rosen, Esquire,image description is an attorney at Simon & Simon, PC, where he concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation. Michael Simon, Esquire,image description has tried many jury trials and prosecuted numerous appeals since he commenced his legal career in 1971.

Initially he was a commercial litigator with Berger & Montague, representing plaintiffs in securities and antitrust class actions. From 1978-2006, Mr. Simon practiced on his own as a litigator, concentrating on plaintiffs’ motor vehicle, premises liability, products liability and medical negligence actions. He obtained a $3,300,000 settlement in a tire defect case, a $1,500,000 settlement in a tractor-trailer accident case and six figure jury verdicts. He served as a Judge Pro Temp and arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. Simon is a lifelong Philadelphia resident. He graduated from Tufts University magna cum laude and received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania law school. Josh practiced for nearly fifteen years at a large regional defense firm as lead trial counsel in automobile and premises liability litigation; trucking; construction defect; products liability; and class action matters. He has successfully defended jury verdict wins in Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.

Josh is an active volunteer in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas where he serves as a judge pro tem in the Day Forward Major Jury and Compulsory Arbitration Appeal programs. His involvement within the Philadelphia Bar Association includes membership with its State Civil and Compulsory Arbitration Committees, the latter of which he served as co-chair for several years.

Prior to joining Simon & Simon, Mr. Reznik has gained heavy litigation experience by clerking for a Los Angeles Superior Court Personal Injury Judge, representing victims of consumer fraud in negligence and Lemon Law matters, defending clients in securities disputes, regulatory investigations, and compliance matters, and prosecuting criminal defendants with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Domestic Violence Unit.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Mr. Reznik attended college at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Urban Development, and a Master’s Degree in Community Development & Planning. Mr. Reznik received his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. While attending Pepperdine, Mr. Reznik was President of Pepperdine’s Micro-Enterprise Program, which helps underprivileged members of the Los Angeles community find gainful employment and launch micro-businesses.

Mr. Reznik is a member of the Brandeis Law Society and Philadelphia Bar Association.

Mr. Reznik resides in Philadelphia with his wife and new born son.

Prior to joining Simon & Simon, PC, she was an associate at defense firm in Pittsburgh where he focused exclusively on litigation, including toxic tort, transportation and commercial litigation matters. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Hansen worked at a small boutique law firm where she represented Plaintiffs in all varieties of litigation including personal injury and labor and employment matters before both State and Federal Courts.

Hansen received a J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2009, where she was actively involved in the university’s nationally ranked trial advocacy program. Upon graduation, Ms. Hansen was awarded the Shalom Moot Court Award and inducted into the Louis Manderino Honor Society for her outstanding trial advocacy. In 2006 she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Psychology and Business and a minor in Economics.

A lifelong native of the Pittsburgh region, Mr. Flaherty grew up in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania and graduated Cum Lade from John Carroll University where he studied History, German Language, and Modern European Studies. He thereafter attended Duquesne University School of Law where he was admitted into the nationally ranked trial advocacy program and interned with Senior Federal Judge Donetta Ambrose.

In 2016, Ms. Pergolizzi earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Based on outstanding academic performance, Ms. Pergolizzi was honored as a Conwell Scholar and received an academic achievement scholarship for all three years at Temple Law. Ms. Pergolizzi was honored as an Honorable Nicholas A. Cipriani Scholar, Joey Pozzuolo International Studies Scholar, and as a Global Scholar. Upon graduation, Ms. Pergolizzi was acknowledged and honored as a Fellow to Temple Law’s Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society because of her dedicated efforts toward pro bono activities.

Prior to working at Simon and Simon P.C., Ms. Pergolizzi was a Clinical Intern for In-House Counsel at Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA). Ms. Pergolizzi gained defense litigation experience by conducting depositions and successfully representing SEPTA at several arbitrations where plaintiffs alleges injuries due to SEPTA’s negligence.

In 2013, Ms. Pergolizzi graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She very active in Philanthropy activities within the greater Philadelphia area. She runs an internationally recognized nonprofit 501(c)3 called Project Anti-Bully which raises awareness of the prevalence of bullying globally.

Mr. Whalley is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Mr. Whalley was an Assistant District Attorney in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Whalley served as the Assistant Chief of the Trials Division, overseeing a large number of attorneys within the litigation unit. While there, he investigated and successfully litigated complex felony cases involving wiretaps, homicides, and corrupt organizations. Mr. Whalley also gained extensive experience with both the investigative and indicting grand juries. Mr. Whalley also served as an associate in the data privacy group of a national law firm.

Mr. Whalley is a native of New York, and graduated from The University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science. He later earned his law degree from The Villanova University School of Law.
