Diana Brocco brings diverse and varied experience to personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Simon & Simon, and early in her legal career, Diana practiced criminal law defense, family law, and plaintiff civil rights litigation. Diana then went on to handle complex civil litigation in areas of mass tort; wrongful death and survivorship litigation; auto and construction fatalities; contractual defense and indemnification; premises liability, with a specialty in defense of negligent security. These matters were litigated on behalf of A plus rated insurance companies. Diana has vast and successful experience in mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeals. Diana has also handled countless civil and quasi criminal matters as counsel for the New Jersey Attorney General’s office with a perfect record of dismissals on behalf of State agencies and employees.
After years of practicing insurance defense litigation and a self-built boutique plaintiff’s practice, Diana is fully committed to handling personal injury matters on behalf of victims who have been injured as a result of individuals, and entities who ignore their legal duties owed to the public. Diana is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is honored to be sworn in to practice in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey; U.S. District Court of the State of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where she has handled countless matters from inception of litigation, through trial, and appeal.
Diana attended St. Joseph’s University where she earned her B.A. in English, and a minor in Italian language and literature. Diana continued her educational journey earning her Juris Doctorate at Widener University Commonwealth School of Law realizing her dream of becoming a lawyer.
