Scott R. Gilmond concentrates his practice in personal injury litigation. He has over 15 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability claims, construction accidents, and bad faith insurance claims.
Prior to joining Simon & Simon, P.C., Mr. Gilmond was a partner at a large regional defense firm. His experience defending claims strengthens his litigation strategy and arguments in his representation of injured parties.
Mr. Gilmond grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He then graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Rhode Island Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts of both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
